You’ll work a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week with a diverse caseload of high school or adult learners, focusing on hands-on shop instruction, industry safety standards, and preparation for industry-recognized certifications. Your expertise will help set students on the path to successful, rewarding careers in the building trades.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California CTC and CTE teaching credentials are required
  • Experience teaching general education or specialized subjects in a school setting
  • Strong background in welding, fabrication, or metal-joining trades
  • Proven ability to implement engaging, hands-on learning opportunities
  • Dedication to student safety and skill development in a shop environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic welding curriculum and technical instruction to students
  • Supervise shop activities to ensure compliance with all safety protocols
  • Guide students through the process of achieving industry certifications
