We are seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise team members and stringers
- Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
- Train and evaluate employees
- Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
- Resolve escalated customer complaints
- Oversee POS system, track purchase orders, receive inventory
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities

What You’ll Do:
\t•\tAssist with day-to-day operations and staff leadership
\t•\tManage sales, rentals, and special orders using our POS system (Square Retail)
\t•\tSupport inventory tracking and restocking
\t•\tProvide great customer service with real product knowledge
\t•\tHelp with stringing flow, scheduling, and customer outreach

What We’re Looking For:
\t•\tStrong understanding of POS systems — ideally someone who enjoys organizing workflows, logging transactions, and improving accuracy
\t•\tPrevious retail or supervisory experience preferred
\t•\tReliable, upbeat, and solutions-oriented
\t•\tInterest in tennis, pickleball, or active lifestyle retail a plus
\t•\tMust be able to lift 30 lbs and handle fast-paced moments
\t•\tWillingness to work weekends and step in when needed
