Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe/West Monroe has immediate openings for a Full-Time Ward Clerk! If you have the heart for caring for individuals this is the place to be!
****All Applicants selected for employment will be required to undergo a post-offer drug test and federal background investigation.
The Ward Clerk will be required to:
- Contribute to the physical, psychological, emotional, and well-being of each person served.
- Keep nurses station clean and organized.
- Contributes to patient records by collecting and documenting data relative to patient.
- Performs a variety of clinical and patient care duties under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Provides clerical support by handling a wide range of related tasks and will work independently with little or no supervision.
- Assist with Physician Rounds when available.
- Monitor communication thread.
- Ensure unit is stocked with supplies for daily functioning
- Communicate with all disciplines within the hospital setting
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year medical or psychiatric patient care experience preferred.
