Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Medical Malpractice Attorney to represent clients in cases involving negligent medical care. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of medical malpractice law and demonstrate a strong commitment to advocating for patients' rights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of medical malpractice claims from inception to resolution
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and trials
  • Consult with medical experts and coordinate expert witness testimony
  • Prepare clients for depositions and trial
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations regarding medical malpractice
  • Provide clients with clear and consistent communication regarding case status and developments
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to medical malpractice cases

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of PA, VA, ML, or DC
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
  • Proven trial preparation and courtroom experience
  • Excellent negotiation and client representation skills
  • Exceptional legal writing and case management abilities
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and juries
  • Experience coordinating with expert witnesses
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
