IMAQ Resources, LLC provides federal government agencies with uniformed security and facilities support services. We have an immediate need for an experienced Custodial Manager. The Custodial Manager will lead and direct the custodial team and is responsible for the training and development of his/her personnel.
Essential Functions:
- Schedules and ensures the completion of all periodic and routine janitorial work within established schedules and in conformance with industry quality and performance standards, including green cleaning standards.
- Maintains all janitorial-related documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Train and develop janitorial staff in building-specific cleaning procedures (i.e. recycling room, support services).
- Establishes performance standards for each phase of work, where practicable.
- Works with the Project Manager to develop an annual schedule of daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic cleaning for submission to the COR for approval.
- Possesses a complete understanding of the operation and maintenance of all custodial equipment used in maintaining each facility.
- Conducts Quality Control Inspections of all janitorial work and ensures that any deficiencies are corrected.
- Implements a program for the acquisition, storage and accountability for all janitorial equipment, tools, materials and supplies and provides reports as required.
- Routinely meets with janitorial staff to review status of janitorial services provided and
- implements corrective measures for any deficiencies.
- Possesses great customer service and relations skills and regularly interacts with management staff to ensure all contract obligations are met or exceeded.
- Manages snow removal efforts.
Education/Certifications:
- Minimal of High School diploma is required.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of Custodial experience required.
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a custodial environment.
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies necessary in facilities of similar size, scope, and complexity is required.
- Current certification in Advanced Custodial Technician from the Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) or receive the training within 90 days of contract start or new employee on-boarding.
