Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Structured Cabling Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in low-voltage systems installation, including voice, data, fiber optics, and related infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, test, and label copper and fiber cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber Optic, etc.)

Perform cable routing in various environments (overhead, under-floor, conduit, etc.)

Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and specifications

Install network racks, patch panels, and related hardware

Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites

Troubleshoot and resolve basic connectivity or installation issues

Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients

Adhere to safety protocols and company standards
Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in structured cabling or a related field (Tech I); additional experience considered for higher levels (Tech II, III, Lead)

Familiarity with industry tools (toner, tester, punchdown tools, etc.)

Ability to use ladders, lifts, and hand/power tools safely

Comfortable working in construction environments and various weather conditions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

BICSI certification, OSHA 10/30, or other credentials a plus (but not required)
