Senior Healthcare Superintendent
San Francisco Bay Area | Full-Time | Healthcare Construction

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Superintendent to lead complex, high-impact construction projects across the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is ideal for a field leader who thrives in technically demanding healthcare environments and is passionate about building spaces that support patient care and safety.
From active hospital renovations to outpatient improvements and medical equipment installations, you’ll play a critical role in delivering projects where precision, compliance, and collaboration are essential.
What You’ll Do
- Lead field operations on complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare construction projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHPD/HCAI, Cal/OSHA, ADA, and ICRA/ILSM standards
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, inspectors, and trade partners
- Mentor and develop superintendents, foremen, and field engineers
- Manage schedules using Microsoft Project and drive on-time delivery
- Oversee job site logistics, materials, and crew coordination
- Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining project momentum
- Champion a strong safety culture and lead by example
- Ensure quality from preconstruction through closeout
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction field leadership
- 5+ years leading healthcare construction projects
- Proven experience with OSHPD/HCAI projects, especially in active hospital settings
- Strong knowledge of healthcare safety and infection control protocols
- Experience managing multiple trades and stakeholders
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM, and Microsoft Project
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and decisive in high-pressure environments
Work Environment
- On-site, hands-on leadership role
- Active construction environment (PPE required)
- Involves walking job sites, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Travel to project sites across California as needed

Compensation
$170,000 – $200,000 (DOE) can also flex for the right experience as well. This will be a Direct Hire Position with one of our clients.
