Job DescriptionJob Title: Project CoordinatorLocation: Houston, TX 77002Type: 4-Month ContractSchedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPay Rate: $26.00/hourWhat Matters MostCompetitive pay at $26/hourConsistent full-time schedule: Mon–Fri, 8 AM to 5 PMWork onsite in Houston, Texas (77002) 4-Month contract opportunity offering career growth and stabilityWeekly pay via direct deposit or pay card Access to dental, vision, medical insurance, and 401(k) via the agencyReferral bonus program eligibility through The Reserves NetworkThe Project Coordinatorwill monitor assigned projects of Harris County Housing & Community Development and Harris County Flood Control Department, to ensure compliance with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Texas General Land Office (GLO)Key Responsibilities

• This position involves coordination with contractors, project managers, and various departments.
• It also involves interaction with organizations and individuals outside of Harris County and elected officials of Harris County.
• Conduct pre-bid/construction conferences to discuss and inform subrecipients and contractors of Section 3 requirements.
• Monitors submitted compliance documents in LCPtracker system, which includes reviewing, approving, or rejecting Section 3 documents.
• Reviews Section 3 reports submitted by subrecipients and contractors to ensure compliance with Section 3 regulation. Conducts site visits and participates in construction progress meetings.
• Provides timely technical assistance to subrecipients and contractors.
• Oversee contractor submittals and database maintenance, resolve issues, and conduct technical assistance (virtual or in person).
• Maintains proper contract and compliance documentation on file

Required Education & Experience:

• Associate’s degree
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in contract compliance, construction, and/or related field, specifically including HUD Section 3 compliance.

Or

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in contract compliance, construction, and/or related
• A valid Class “C” Texas Driver’s License

Preferred Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, construction management, or another related field
• Bilingual in Spanish and English Preferred
