Control Assemblies Company is seeking a talented Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
In this role you deliver a customer service experience that exceeds expectations. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction and maximizes customer retention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide service and customer support in response to service requests (phone, email, etc.) from our customers and the customers of our customers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems and determine proper solutions on timely basis with a sense of urgency.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports on a regular basis.
- Build positive relationships with customers, employees, managers and other business partners.
Competencies
- Maintain a high standard for customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Significant experience working with electrical and electronic troubleshooting.
- A proven track record in identifying, documenting, and solving problems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner.
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
- Commitment to safety in operating and driving.
Education and/or Experience
- 3-5 years of previous field service experience required.
- Ability to work flexible hours and able to adapt to changing work schedules.
- Willing to travel to customer sites as needed.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds at a time
Work Environment
Field work and traveling to customer sites and use of a vehicle for travel.
