Job Description
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with comprehensive hands-on experience in mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, lockout/tagout/tryout, and automated equipment operations. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of professional experience or equivalent technical training in maintaining pneumatic, electrical, vacuum, or mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment. While experience with PLC/electrical/electronics/robotics systems is beneficial, it is not a primary requirement. Knowledge of arc flash safety is also preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and disassembly of mechanical machines and facilities equipment.
- Conduct technical troubleshooting of equipment failures to identify and resolve root causes of machine malfunctions or poor process results.
- Execute preventative maintenance and configure/repair plumbing systems.
- Perform brazing tasks and assist Controls and Automation Technicians with basic electrical, PLC/controls, and automation troubleshooting and repairs.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years professional experience or equivalent technical training in maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with facility maintenance, HVAC, and repair services.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and volt meters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Understanding of shop mathematics and measurements (SAE and Metric).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance mechanic.
- Technical training or coursework in industrial maintenance or electronics/controls/automation is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work is conducted in an industrial manufacturing plant setting. The training schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The permanent schedule is a day shift from Sunday to Wednesday, with a flexible start time, consisting of four 10-hour shifts. The facility utilizes advanced metal injection molding technology to create high-performing small precision metal components.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
