We are seeking a Logistics Project Manager to lead and execute complex logistics and supply chain initiatives across multiple concurrent construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to shape processes, manage high-value client relationships, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role requires a strong background in 3PL operations, carrier and vendor coordination, and end-to-end project lifecycle management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full project lifecycle including onboarding, planning, execution, scope changes, budget management, and reporting for multiple projects simultaneously
- Manage transportation strategies by identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating with carriers, and onboarding new providers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including warehouse operations to ensure alignment and timely execution
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of goods
- Analyze inventory activity, investigate discrepancies, and manage inbounds and outbounds
- Lead internal and external project meetings, fostering clear communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Maintain up-to-date documentation including processes, procedures, and project reports
- Understand the intersection of technology, operations, and business to drive continuous improvement and operational optimization
- Identify risks and proactively address potential issues to minimize project disruption
- Support bid preparation and present to leadership for project approval
- Track financial performance of projects, create financial reports, and contribute to forecasting and margin improvement
- Guide, mentor, and support project support staff
- Stay informed on industry trends and apply insights to improve practices
- Adapt quickly in an ambiguous environment and drive toward business objectives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in logistics project management, including 3PL, fulfillment, transportation, and distribution
- 3+ years of experience managing high-end or enterprise-level clients
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
- Strong financial acumen with ability to manage project margins, forecasts, and reporting
- Proficiency with TMS, WMS, and Microsoft Office applications
- Deep knowledge of routing, carrier negotiation, and vendor management
- Demonstrated ability to influence, lead change, and work cross-functionally
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think ahead and adapt
Salary & Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is $75-90K
- Eligible for Profit Sharing contribution, 401K (automatically vested)
