Job Title: Senior Project Manager / Project Engineer

Salary: $125,000 - $140,000/ year

Location: REMOTE 10-25% Travel

Position Overview
We are a consulting engineering firm seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager / Project Engineer to oversee and manage large-scale industrial projects within the oil and gas facilities, refineries, chemical plants and manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while effectively coordinating resources and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of industrial projects in the oil and gas sector.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Utilize project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project and Bluebeam to track progress and report on project status.
  • Coordinate with engineers and design teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management within the industrial sector, specifically oil and gas, petrochemical, primary metals, chemical and pulp and paper.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) designation is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy industrial processes and project execution.
  • Proficient in project management software (Microsoft Project, Navisworks Freedom) and CAD tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on client interaction and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
