We are seeking a PRN Pharmacist to provide coverage and support the Director of Pharmacy (DOP) during scheduled time off. This is a great opportunity for a Kentucky-licensed pharmacist looking for flexible PRN work in a behavioral health hospital setting.

- Location: Hopkinsville, KY
- Average Daily Census: Approximately 50
- Position: PRN Pharmacist
- Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Weekend Coverage: None
- Experience Preferred: Inpatient and/or Behavioral Health pharmacy experience
- Kentucky Pharmacist License: Required
- Training: 1 day of training provided
- Dress Code: Business casual

Responsibilities
\n
The PRN Pharmacist will primarily be responsible for:
\n
- \n
- Verifying medication orders
- Verifying packaged medications
- Stocking and maintaining medications in the Omnicell system
- Supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations
- Working closely with the DOP and Pharmacy Technician to ensure safe and accurate medication distribution

Pharmacy Environment
\n

- Specialty: Behavioral Health – children and adults
- Order Entry System: HCS – training provided
- Automation: Omnicell – training provided
- Pharmacy Staff: 1 Director of Pharmacy + 1 Pharmacy Technician
- The Pharmacy Technician provides excellent support with medication packaging and Omnicell stocking, making this a fairly straightforward pharmacist coverage assignment.

Candidate Requirements
\n
- \n
- Active Kentucky Pharmacist License
- Inpatient and/or behavioral health experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Strong medication verification and pharmacy operations skills
- Professional communication and attention to detail

\n
\n
Local candidates are preferred. Travel candidates may be considered; however, any travel expenses must be incorporated into an all-inclusive rate.
