The Mental Health and Wellness division of Boston Children?s Health Physicians (BCHP) is looking to hire a Full Time LCSW or LMHC to join our team in our General Pediatrics office in Hawthorne, New York! The candidate we are seeking for this opportunity requires the ability to address a variety of patient needs, age groups, and diverse backgrounds. We are looking for a candidate with strong experience, a warm personality, flexiblibility, and the ability to adapt to different situations.

Schedule:

• This is a full time position. The schedule of this position will be Monday-Thursday 9:00am-7:00pm or 9:30am-7:30pm.
• There are no weekends and no on-call schedule for this position.

Pay:

• The annual salary will be $79,000-$80,000, with an incentive bonus. We also offer a stipend for continuing education.

Job Duties

• Provide both individual family therapy to children and adolescents
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and Art Therapy, to address the unique needs of each client.
• Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner using the Electronic Health Record system. BCHP uses the NextGen EHR system
• Participate in regular clinical supervision meetings and team meetings to enhance professional growth and ensure quality care

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work or counseling
• Active New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW or LMHC) license
• The ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds
• We are ideally looking for at least two years? experience providing therapy to children and adolescents utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities
• A strong knowledge of child development is required
• The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and knowledge of best practices working with children and families.
