Equipment Mechanic - Road Service

Position Overview
The Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer equipment at field locations. This role focuses primarily on gas-powered forklift repair and service, requiring strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and independent field service experience.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair forklifts and industrial equipment at customer locations

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on gas-powered forklifts

Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues efficiently

Complete repairs safely and accurately while maintaining service quality

Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment conditions and repairs

Maintain service tools, equipment, and organized work practices
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of mechanical repair experience

Experience repairing forklifts, automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment

Clean driving record required

Must possess personal mechanic tools

Stable work history with strong professional references

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities

Ability to work independently in a field service environment

Monday through Friday daytime schedule (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
