We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves extensive domestic and international travel to data centers, where you will perform electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and communications systems. Your expertise in electrical wiring, network installation, and system quality checks will be essential. You will engage directly with customers on-site to address issues, logging and reporting all work in our computer system.
Responsibilities
- Travel domestically and internationally to data centers for system installations and repairs.
- Perform electrical wiring, including 3-phase systems, and network installations.
- Integrate Building Management Systems (BMS) and program meters.
- Collaborate with customers to understand and resolve on-site issues.
- Log and report all work in the company’s computer system.
- Conduct quality checks on installed systems.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical systems and field service experience.
- Ability to travel 90% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and terminal emulator programs.
- Experience in customer-facing roles and troubleshooting.
- Valid passport and driver's license.
- Ability to pass ongoing background, drug, and credit checks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with 3-phase wiring and data center operations.
- Knowledge of industrial construction and installation processes.
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI systems.
- Experience with blueprint reading and wire pulling.
- Previous extensive travel roles.

Work Environment
This role involves extensive travel, with 80% of weekends at home. You'll work onsite at large data centers, collaborating with clients to resolve issues. Travel is typically Monday through Friday, with potential international assignments in Western Europe. Typical work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, but may vary based on client needs. The team is growing rapidly, currently consisting of 14 full-time technicians. Expect a dynamic environment where you'll be logging progress and uploading work photos in the internal system.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
