The hourly rate for this internship is $19.00 per hour, and based, in part, on your previous experience.
Work Hours/Location
The selected person will be expected to work onsite three days per week, a maximum of 24 hours weekly. IREX’s IT Internship is scheduled to begin in mid February of 2026, with the potential for extension.

The intern will help provide technical support to staff, maintain IT systems and inventory, and assist with audiovisual (AV) setups for meetings and events. This is a hands-on learning opportunity within a dynamic nonprofit environment, offering exposure to Office 365 tools and IT operations at a global organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot IT equipment and software for IREX staff and visitors
- Provide technical support and guidance via phone, email, or in person
- Assist with AV equipment setup and troubleshooting for meetings and events (cameras, screens, microphones, etc.)
- Document and report IT incidents, service requests, and solutions
- Follow IREX policies and procedures regarding IT security and compliance
- Collaborate with IT team members on projects and daily tasks
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or University, and pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Holds a min. GPA of 3.2/4.0
- Ability to install, configure, update, and troubleshoot IT equipment and software for IREX staff and visitors
- Thorough knowledge of MS 365 applications
- Superior people/customer service skills
