We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to lead a crew here at Bull Bay Nursery, as well as an experienced Irrigation Specialist to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, horticulture, and irrigation systems, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and hands-on experience managing daily field operations while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.

Landscape Job is separate from the Irrigation job.

Landscape Skills

• Coordinating irrigation with landscape design and plant types

• Soil moisture and drainage assessment

• Knowledge of plant watering needs and drought-tolerant landscaping

• Preventing overwatering, runoff, and erosion

• Collaborating with landscape crews during installation phases

Technical Irrigation Skills

• Installation of residential and commercial irrigation systems

• Reading and interpreting irrigation plans and blueprints

• PVC and poly pipe cutting, fitting, and gluing

• Valve and manifold assembly and installation

• Sprinkler head layout, spacing, and adjustment

• Drip irrigation system setup and maintenance

• Installation and programming of irrigation controllers/timers

• Electrical troubleshooting of valves and solenoids

• Pump installation and maintenance

• Backflow prevention assembly testing and installation

• Repairing leaks, broken heads, and damaged lines

• Winterization and spring start-up procedures
