Job DescriptionDermatology Clinic seeking a friendly employee to join our team. Seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to manage the privileging, enrollment and re-verification process for medical providers. This position is located in North Little Rock, AR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate new practice/provider onboarding to ensure timely activation to payer contracts.
  • Review provider documents for accuracy and manage network provider rosters.
  • Resolve network provider issues related to contracting, billing, and attribution.
  • Maintain network records and documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date provider data in credentialing databases and ensure timely renewal of licenses/certifications.
  • Work with hospitals and health plans for provider appointment.
  • Interact with patients and staff in a professional manner that promotes the values of our clinic and promotes teamwork.
  • Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and exhibits genuine, caring and friendly behavior.
  • Has the ability to be coached.
  • Protects patients’ rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a physician's office or healthcare credentialing role.
  • Experience with NPPES, Credentialing Software, CAQH and PECOS is a plus.
  • Excellent data entry and auditing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Great Customer Service.
  • Time Management.
  • Problem solving.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of basic computer software, and the ability to learn electronic medical records.
  • Organization.
