Job DescriptionA stocker, or inventory clerk, is responsible for receiving, unpacking, organizing, and replenishing merchandise on store shelves. Requires some cashier experience.
Job Type: Full-time; temp to hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 2pm – 10pm
Need to have open/flexible availability
Pay: $20/hr
Location: Ewa
Key Responsibilities
• Some cashier experience: scan items, process payments.• Unloading shipments from trucks, scanning inventory, organizing the store, and moving items to the sales floor.
• Filling shelves and displays efficiently while ensuring correct placement and rotation of products (FIFO: First In, First Out, front-facing).
• Maintaining clean, organized shelves and setting up promotional displays.
• Assisting customers in locating products and providing information.
• Cleaning aisles, removing packing materials, and operating equipment like hand truck
Qualifications & Skills
• The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for 8+ hours. Ability to lift between 30 and 50 pounds regularly.
• Requires wearing heavy jacket and gloves while working in the freezer
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and have good communication skills.
• Accurately labeling prices, spotting damaged goods, and maintaining organized displays.
• Ability to use handheld scanners for inventory tracking and use of hand truck
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
