Seeking an Office Assistant / Parts Specialist for a Forklift Dealer in Cheektowaga, NY! DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!
Pay: up to $25/hour (BOE)
Hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM/Monday-Friday
Responsibilities for the Office Assistant:
- Field phone calls from outside customers and our team of technicians.
- Utilize our dealer software and web-based vendor applications to determine correct parts needed for repair.
- Interact with multiple vendors to determine price and availability of needed parts.
- Timely completion of service/sales quotes.
- Parts ordering and returns.
Requirements for the Office Assistant:
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Ability to multitask and follow through.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Team oriented and flexible.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Able to lift 75 lbs.
Preferred Requirements for the Office Assistant (not necessary, bonuses):
- Prior parts department experience.
- Technical or trade schooling.
- Ability to read and identify parts on schematics and diagrams.
- Shipping/receiving experience.
- Customer service experience.
