- Ensure all products are stocked, properly labeled, and rotated for freshness
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail environment preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
