Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on diesel trucks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty systems.
Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to identify root causes of vehicle malfunctions.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding vehicle condition and repair recommendations.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements
ASE Certifications (Tractor-Trailer, Brakes, Suspension, etc.) strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools specific to diesel vehicles.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Own set of professional tools is required.
