Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Experience working with high school students (preferred)
  • Competency with cross-categorical student needs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction to a small caseload of students
  • Develop and implement IEPs focused on academic skills and mild self-regulation
  • Collaborate with school teams and families to support student success
  • Maintain progress records and document related data
  • Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week)
