As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will be the go-to expert for keeping our facility powered, safe, and running smoothly. Your days will span from hands-on repair work to precision preventive maintenance—always with safety and quality at the forefront.
A Day in the Life
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems across the plant.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose faults quickly and implement effective corrective actions.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Apply and uphold safety procedures and electrical codes at all times.
- Coordinate with mechanics, production, and other trades to complete tasks efficiently.
- Accurately document maintenance and repair activities.
- Engage in ongoing training to stay current with evolving technologies and practices.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship completion preferred.
- Valid electrician license or certification.
- Hands-on experience in an industrial electrician role (or closely related position).
- Strong command of electrical systems, wiring methods, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, prints, and schematics.
- Sharp problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Clear communicator and effective collaborator in a team-based environment.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, with overtime as needed.
