We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join us as an Project Manager / Estimator. The selected candidate will receive hands-on training directly from the current project manager.
Job Description:
As our new Project Manager / Estimator, you will be trained by our project manager, who will guide you through the day-to-day responsibilities of estimating electrical projects from start to finish. You will learn how to coordinate project timelines, resources, and teams while developing the skills necessary to manage projects efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in the electrical industry with personalized mentorship and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating & Takeoffs

Review construction drawings, electrical plans, and project specifications.

Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, equipment, and labor.

Prepare accurate cost estimates for new construction, remodels, service upgrades, generators, and other electrical projects.

Identify value-engineering opportunities to improve cost competitiveness.
Bid Preparation

Develop and submit competitive bid proposals within required timelines.

Prepare bid packages, scope sheets, and documentation for general contractors or customers.

Track and follow up on bids to improve company hit rate.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)

Strong interest in project management within the electrical or construction industry

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate across departments

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

Internship or experience in project management, electrical work, or a related field is a plus

Knowledge of electrical industry standards and practices is a bonus
