Job Overview
We are hiring a Part-Time Commercial Cleaning Team for a larger commercial site in Columbus, MN. This role is ideal for dependable individuals who are comfortable working as part of a team and can be flexible when needed. Positions are available immediately, including at least one Team Lead role.
Schedule & Shift Details
- Monday–Friday
- Evening / overnight work
- Start anytime after 5:00 PM
- Must be finished by 5:00 AM
- Typically, 3–4 people per shift
- Most shifts are 2–3 hours per person
- Total job time is 6–8 hours, depending on team size
- If a team member does not show, shifts may occasionally run longer
- If you are not available every weekday, share which days you can work
First 2 Weeks
- A set schedule will be coordinated for all team members
- This allows proper area assignments and role setup
- After the first two weeks, you may choose your preferred start time
Team Lead Position (at least 1 opening)
The Team Lead will:
- Operate the floor scrubber
- Operate the carpet sweeper
- Double-check completed work
- Correct any missed items as needed
- Help keep the team on pace and organized
(Leadership or equipment experience preferred, but not required.)
Pay & Details
- Competitive pay (discussed via message)
- Paid every other Friday
- Equipment and supplies provided
- Sales incentive pay is available
- W-4 employee or 1099 contractor options
- No benefits until full-time positions open
Requirements / Qualifications
- Reliable vehicle
- Working cell phone with basic tech skills
- Ability to work well on a team and follow directions
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, and move equipment
- Must pass a background check (some items may be worked around)
- Cleaning experience is a plus, but not required
Seasonal Note
- Saturdays are preferred during winter busy season
