ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure the maximum up-time of production activities.
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties; make repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of purchased parts.
- Perform various activities related to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment to involve dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting and aligning operations.
- Perform maintenance on the building, facilities, and the grounds.
- Assist the team in determining the nature and scope of projects and the requirements for completion.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units.
- Maintain required maintenance logs and files.
- Submit requests for additional parts and service.
- Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
- Comply with all quality, safety and sanitation regulations.

Education and/Or Experience
Requires one to three years of trades training and three to five years of progressively responsible related experience or eight to ten years of progressively responsible related experience.
