We are seeking a Full Time Seasonal Garden Center Retail Associate and Manager to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in order to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and show them products
• Help customers decide which products will best suit their needs
• Using the Point of Sale system to process customer order and payments
• Oversee daily operations
• Help monitor inventory
• Enter and process customer orders
• Help keep products displays looking presentable
• Motivate seasonal employees and show them the skills necessary to achieve tasks
• Maintain social media accounts for the company if requested

Requirements:

• Legal citizen of the USA with valid Social Security number
• Valid driver's license
• Exceptional organization and follow-through skills
• Problem solving skills
• Good representation of the company through clean appearance and attire
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related field
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Capable of walking and standing for long periods of time
• Capable of lifting and carrying at least 50 pounds
• Capable of working in extreme heat and cold conditions in an outdoor setting
• Learn or possess knowledge of nursery stock, bulk materials, and other items we sell
• Must be able to work 6 days/week during the busy season
