Forklift Operator – Seasonal-Vero Beach, FL
Pay Range: $17.50 – $18.50/hour
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our fast-paced citrus packinghouse team. This role is responsible for safely moving products throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, staging inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
- Load and unload inbound/outbound shipments
- Transport products between receiving, production, storage, and shipping
- Maintain inventory accuracy and product rotation (FIFO)
- Perform equipment inspections and follow safety procedures
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience required
- Warehouse, manufacturing, or food production experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Environment:
- Indoor packinghouse/cooler environment
- 40+ hours per week with overtime as needed
- Nights and weekends may be required during peak season
