Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT role (elementary to middle school experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of pediatric OT assessments, IEP development, and goal implementation
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for PreK-8th grade students
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
  • Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate strategies in and out of the classroom
  • Create supportive, innovative, and engaging therapeutic activities tailored to individual student needs

  • Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week, with some flexibility for 3 full-day shifts if needed
