Job DescriptionOur client is undergoing significant expansion across their Technology and Operations functions and is seeking to add a Project Manager to support key enterprise initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in leading technology-driven projects, improving operational workflows, and ensuring successful execution of strategic programs.The ideal candidate will bring strong project delivery experience, the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams, and a proven track record of managing multiple initiatives within the insurance industry. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance both strategic planning and hands-on execution.Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of technology and business-focused initiatives, including system enhancements, infrastructure efforts, and long-term transformation programs.
- Partner with stakeholders to evaluate current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement improved processes.
- Establish project scope, objectives, timelines, resource plans, and financial estimates.
- Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure alignment and timely completion of deliverables.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies to minimize impact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define business needs, and translate them into actionable plans.
- Ensure appropriate governance through documentation such as project plans, roadmaps, testing strategies, and status reporting.
- Track progress against key milestones and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate testing, validation, and acceptance processes to ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Drive project closure activities, confirming successful delivery and completion of all outstanding items.
Qualifications=
- 5 - 10+ years of Project Management experience within the P&C insurance industry
- Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks, including both Agile and traditional approaches.
- Familiarity with the full lifecycle of software and system implementation initiatives.
- Experience managing project budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps platforms, or similar).
- Ability to create and manage key project artifacts such as plans, requirements, timelines, and testing documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree required; PMP, Scrum, or similar certifications are a plus.
Salary & Benefits
- $130,000 - $160,000 annually (based on experience)
