Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for a confident courtroom advocate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about representing personal injury clients. The selected candidate will manage a full litigation caseload while working alongside a collaborative, team-oriented support system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases from inception through trial, ensuring strategic and thorough case development at every stage
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including filing lawsuits, drafting and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and internal team members
- Lead and oversee a litigation team of five or more, providing mentorship, guidance, and accountability
- Independently manage a full caseload while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, organization, and attention to detail
- Supervise and support team members to ensure efficiency and high-quality case progression
- Utilize pre-litigation experience, including negotiation and case strategy, to strengthen litigation outcomes
- Handle cases involving commercial motor vehicles, with a willingness to expand expertise in trucking litigation
- Pursue ongoing professional development, including board certification in truck accident law
- Maintain a high level of accountability while effectively managing responsibilities with autonomy
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar
- Minimum of 2 years of personal injury litigation experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management systems
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective, strategic solutions
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Trial experience preferred
- Experience handling commercial cases is a plus
- Experience litigating trucking and other commercial motor vehicle cases is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $140,000–$200,000 annually, plus monthly bonus based on attorney fees collected
