Position Overview: Day Supervisor – Janitorial Services
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring successful day-to-day delivery of janitorial and facilities services at client sites. You’ll oversee team members and shift leads, create a high-performance work environment, and promote excellence in service delivery and team collaboration.
This position calls for flexibility, initiative, and the ability to lead by example—providing “WOW” service to internal and external customers alike.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily cleaning and facility operations

Supervise and support janitorial team members and leads

Ensure consistent quality standards and compliance with procedures

Respond promptly to customer concerns and requests

Track, analyze, and report performance metrics

Promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment

Support company culture and champion employee engagement

Take proactive steps to maintain a union-free workplace

Additional duties as assigned
Who You Are

Experienced in team supervision or leadership roles

Hold a valid Michigan Driver’s License

Skilled in customer relationship management

Strong communicator—both written and verbal

Education & Screening Requirements

Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Preferred: Associate Degree or equivalent relevant experience
