We are a stable, small manufacturing company preparing for rapid growth over the next three years. To get there, we need an excellent multi-craft Maintenance Technician to take full ownership of our equipment and facilities maintenance.
Make no mistake: this role is highly physical and hands-on. It requires a high tolerance for dirty, repetitive, and detail-intensive work. You will be performing daily machine maintenance, wrestling fluid systems, managing coolant and filters, and turning wrenches. Right now, you are a solo contributorthe Reliability Engineer and the Shop Hand rolled into one.
However, because of our growth trajectory, you won't just follow a checklist. You will build on our existing PM program to keep up with our growth and get ahead of problems. As the company scales over the next 3 years, the goal is for you to build a team and grow into a Maintenance Manager role.
What Youll Be Doing:
- The Dirty & Detail-Intensive Work: Perform fluid checks, manage bulk oils and coolants, change filters, grease components, and conduct full oil changes on hydraulic and high-pressure systems. Complete every task end-to-end, including reassembly and clean-up.
- Precision Mechanical Repair: Rebuild and maintain wire guides, tension sensors, die guides, ball screws, and linear guides.
- Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose 480V 3-phase power, motors, drives, and perform basic PLC troubleshooting to restore production.
- Program Ownership: Utilize world class PM software to minimize "firefighting" and maximize spindle uptime. Pull control backups and replace backup batteries across all platforms.
- Facility Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical vendors, auditing their work to protect our bottom line.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Multi-Craft Mastery: Heavy mechanical aptitude combined with solid industrial electrical/PLC troubleshooting skills.
- Mechanical Experience: Prior experience servicing precision mechanical equipment and diligence required.
- CNC Experience (preferred): Prior experience servicing precision mechanical equipment and diligence preferred.
- Grit & Autonomy: You are perfectly comfortable working independently, making critical decisions, and leaving your work area cleaner than you found it.
- Regulatory: Must be a US Person (citizenship or legal permanent resident) and pass a pre-employment background check (NICS).
Why Join Us? We offer a true path to management without the corporate red tape, plus a top-tier benefits package:
- $30.00 - $45.00/hr based on experience & fit
- Profit Sharing
- 401(k) with company match
- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
- Paid Time Off & Parental Leave
