IN-HOME HVAC & PLUMBING SALES CONSULTANT

Advantage Air Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced In-Home HVAC & Plumbing Sales Consultant to join our growing residential team.
This is a full-commission sales position for an experienced individual who understands residential home services and is comfortable meeting directly with homeowners, identifying their needs, presenting solutions, and closing sales.
We provide the opportunities, products, support, and training. We are looking for someone who knows how to turn those opportunities into satisfied customers.
WHAT YOU'LL BE SELLING
Our company focuses on residential equipment and home-comfort solutions, including:
- Furnaces
- Central air-conditioning systems
- Heat pumps
- Ductless mini-split systems
- Boilers and hydronic heating
- Indoor air quality products
- Water heaters
- Tankless water heaters
- Residential plumbing equipment and upgrades
- Water quality and treatment solutions
- Other residential HVAC and plumbing replacement opportunities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run scheduled in-home sales appointments
- Meet professionally with homeowners and determine their needs
- Evaluate existing residential HVAC and plumbing equipment
- Gather accurate information needed to properly quote the project
- Build and present clear replacement and upgrade options
- Explain equipment differences, efficiency, warranties, financing, and available options
- Help customers make informed decisions without using high-pressure sales tactics
- Follow up on open estimates and unsold opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer, estimate, and sales information in ServiceTitan
- Communicate sold-job information clearly to our installation and office teams
- Maintain strong communication with customers from the initial appointment through the sales handoff
- Represent Advantage Air professionally in the customer's home and throughout our service area
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Previous residential HVAC, plumbing, or in-home home-services sales experience is required.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a proven ability to sell residential home-service projects
- Is comfortable discussing larger-ticket purchases with homeowners
- Understands residential HVAC and/or plumbing systems
- Can confidently present multiple options instead of simply giving one price
- Has strong closing and follow-up skills
- Communicates professionally and clearly
- Is organized and capable of managing multiple open opportunities
- Is comfortable using tablets, computers, and sales software
- Understands that successful sales require both technical knowledge and excellent customer service
- Can work independently while still being part of a larger team
Additional training will be available to help the right person continue developing their technical knowledge, sales skills, and earning potential.
SCHEDULE
This position requires flexibility based on customer demand.
Appointments may include:
- Weekdays
- Evenings
- Some weekends
- Additional availability during periods of high demand or extreme weather
Residential HVAC and plumbing demand can change quickly with the weather, so flexibility is important.
COMPENSATION
Full Commission Position
This position is designed for a motivated salesperson who wants their earning potential tied directly to their performance.
Specific commission structure and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
COMPANY VEHICLE
A company vehicle will be provided during your scheduled shift for company sales appointments.
