An established international food manufacturing company is seeking a Logistics Assistant.
- Salary: $23.00/hr.
- Full benefit: Medical/Dental/Vision, Life insurance, 401K, Holiday, vacation pay/Sick leave
- Monday – Friday 07:00 a.m. – 04:00 p.m.
Requirements of the Logistics Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, but not required
- Strong Communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using NetSuite or other ERP system is a big plus
- Must be able to perform the physical activities necessary to support daily warehouse and logistics operations
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 30lbs
Responsibilities of the Logistics Assistant:
Supports shipping and receiving operations by coordinating logistics activities, maintaining inventory and records, and communicating with customers and transportation partners
- Answer calls and emails
- Schedule deliveries and pickups
- Assist drivers and customers
- Update inventory and orders
- Process invoices and shipping documents
- Receive shipments and track deliveries
- Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and dispatchers regarding loading and schedules
- Other related duties will be assigned
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday 07:00 a.m. – 04:00 p.m.
