AMX Trucking is looking for a driven, hands-on Operations Manager to take the lead in our day-to-day driver operations.
\n
We're looking for someone who knows how to lead a team, solve problems, improve productivity, and keep operations running smoothly. If you're the type of person who can walk into a busy operation, identify what's slowing things down, and figure out how to make it better — we want to meet you.

This is more than a management position. You'll have a direct impact on our drivers, dispatch team, efficiency, and overall success.

🚦 What You'll Be Doing\n

- Oversee daily driver operations and keep productivity moving in the right direction.
- Lead, coach, and support our dispatch team.
- Help hire and train new dispatchers.
- Build schedules and make sure the team has what they need to succeed.
- Monitor driver and operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Establish performance metrics and hold the team accountable to results.
- Analyze what's working, what's not, and find better ways to do it.
- Create and implement processes that make our day-to-day operations more efficient.
- Communicate new policies, procedures, and expectations clearly to the operations team.
- Lead team meetings and help keep everyone aligned when things change.
- Work closely with Customer Service and other departments to keep communication and workflow running smoothly.
- Handle performance issues and employee concerns professionally and fairly.
- Help create a positive, productive, and accountable team environment.
- Represent AMX Trucking professionally with employees, customers, and industry partners.

⭐ Experience We're Looking For\n
Experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet operations, or a similar fast-paced environment is highly valued.
\n
Management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
\n
You should also be comfortable with:

- Performance metrics and reporting
- Employee coaching and performance management
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Business operations and financial concepts
