Immediate opening for a MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR at Hornady Manufacturing in Grand Island, NE. This position supports the daily execution of Hornady public relations and marketing communications activities. Working closely with the Marketing Communications Manager, this person will keep requests, materials, schedules, and follow-up organized so writers, media partners, and internal teams receive accurate information and timely support. The coordinator will also assist as on-camera talent for product reviews and interviews and participate in podcasts, explaining products and technical topics clearly and confidently.

Essential Functions (perform or assist):

  • Develop and maintain relationships with writers, editors, content creators, podcasters, and other media contacts.
  • Respond to media inquiries and coordinate product requests, including shipment details, deadlines, follow-up, and returns when applicable.
  • Process and track approved product, sample, literature, and promotional-material requests for writers, media partners, events, and other marketing needs. Coordinate fulfillment with the appropriate internal teams and confirm delivery.
  • Help coordinate communications with writers, editors, bloggers, podcasters, and other content providers by scheduling meetings, gathering requested materials, and tracking deadlines.
  • Deliver clear, engaging on-camera interviews, product reviews, demonstrations, and educational content.
  • Coordinate event details such as travel, schedules, registrations, materials, shipments, all logistical requirements and follow-up; provide on-site support when needed.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% is required.
  • Attendance and support at trade shows and industry events, including international events, may be expected.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing several requests at once. Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required. Experience in marketing, communications, public relations, order coordination, or event support is preferred. Familiarity with firearms, reloading, hunting, shooting sports, and Hornady products is helpful but not required. A degree in communications, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience) is preferred. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits package available. DEADLINE OCTOBER 23rd.
