Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Paralegal to independently manage complex family law cases from inception through trial. This role supports senior attorneys in a fast-paced, litigation-driven environment and requires strong organizational skills, advanced drafting ability, and confident client communication.

The ideal candidate brings deep Florida family law experience, thrives in a billable-hour environment, and understands the importance of delivering exceptional client service in a client-facing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage family law cases from intake through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and legal correspondence with precision
• Prepare and organize mandatory disclosures pursuant to Fla. Fam. L. R. P. 12.285
• Prepare, update, and review financial affidavits with accuracy
• Prepare, respond to, and track discovery requests and deadlines
• Maintain detailed case calendars and ensure compliance with court deadlines
• Track and enter billable time accurately; consistently meet a minimum of 35 billable hours per week
• Support attorneys during mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials
• Communicate professionally with clients, judicial assistants, and opposing counsel
• Participate in firm meetings and accountability systems
• Deliver client interactions with professionalism, polish, and a service-oriented mindset

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Florida family law experience (required)
• Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation (required)
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex litigation matters
• Strong trial preparation and courtroom support experience
• Advanced drafting and legal writing skills
• Experience managing billable time requirements
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Professional demeanor and confident client-facing presence
