Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Contract Specialist to support the acquisition and procurement functions for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pre-award and post-award contracting activities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and administer complex contracts for goods and services.

Conduct market research and cost/price analysis to support acquisition strategy.

Prepare and issue Request for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations for Bid (IFBs), and other solicitation documents.

Evaluate contractor proposals and assist in source selection activities.

Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific acquisition policies.

Prepare and execute contract modifications, terminations, and close-outs.

Provide guidance and technical assistance to program offices and stakeholders.

Maintain accurate and complete contract files and documentation.

Interface with legal, finance, and technical staff throughout the procurement lifecycle.
Basic Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.

Coursework: Completion of at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following disciplines:
