Join our team as a Packager, where you will be responsible for accurately counting, packaging, and placing stacked tortillas into boxes on a fast-paced production line. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our quality and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately count, package, and place stacked tortillas into boxes on a production line.
  • Maintain quality and efficiency standards.
  • Stand and work for the entirety of a 12-hour shift.
  • Handle and move boxes weighing between 15 and 20 pounds, with a maximum weight of 32 pounds.
  • Manually stack up to 45 boxes per hour onto pallets when the palletizing robot is unavailable.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
  • Follow company safety procedures and food manufacturing standards.
  • Adhere to required PPE guidelines at all times.

Work Environment

Our facility is a temperature-controlled environment averaging 70-75 degrees, offering a comfortable workspace. While the facility can be loud, requiring earplugs, it is a premier manufacturer of flour and corn tortillas. Located in Caldwell, Idaho, our SQF certified world-class facility has been operational for over 45 years and employs over 300 full-time employees. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caldwell, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.60 - $18.10/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
