What We're Looking For

Jade Global Solutions is seeking experienced, reliable, and safety-conscious Commercial Drivers for a direct-hire opportunity with a distribution company located in Norcross, Georgia.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid CDL Class A or Class B license and be available for regional travel throughout Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee. The position involves transporting and delivering company products safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, state, and local regulations.
Transport and deliver company products to assigned customer locations.
Follow scheduled routes, delivery instructions, and company procedures.
Complete and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate driving logs, mileage reports, delivery records, and other required documentation.
Load, unload, lift, and carry products weighing up to 20 pounds.
Properly secure cargo before and during transportation.
Verify delivery quantities and obtain customer signatures or other proof of delivery.
Maintain regular communication with dispatch and company management.
Promptly report vehicle issues, accidents, delays, damaged products, or delivery problems.
Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in safe operating condition.
Provide courteous and professional customer service at all delivery locations.
Follow all company safety policies and transportation procedures.

Required Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B license.
Minimum of five years of commercial driving experience preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Acceptable motor vehicle record.
Ability to meet all applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Availability to travel throughout Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee.
Knowledge of commercial driving safety practices and cargo-securement procedures.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate transportation and delivery records.
Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently.
Ability to successfully complete any required background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record review.
Valid TWIC card preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
Ability to assist with loading and unloading products as required.
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
Ability to safely enter and exit a commercial vehicle repeatedly.
Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull while performing delivery duties.
Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely in varying weather, traffic, and road conditions.

Travel Benefits
Additional compensation may be provided when the driver is required to stay overnight outside Georgia.
Approved hotel expenses associated with required overnight business travel will be covered or reimbursed by the hiring company.
