Are you an experienced paralegal who has organizational prowess and an eye for detail to make an impact and benefit others? Our fast-paced law firm is on the lookout for a litigation paralegal to oversee every element of case management, from initiating legal files all the way through to litigation.
The ideal individual will have a background in personal injury case administration and litigation, demonstrate extreme organizational skills, and show great patience towards people facing distressful circumstances. The person should also be capable of managing multiple cases in litigation, have a positive attitude, and be adaptable to learning and implementing our firm's standards.

Compensation:
$65,000 - $80,000 yearly including bonus incentives
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain case files and information concerning case details and medical treatment in accordance with the law firm's policies
- Maintain healthy client relationships with encouragement and empathy
- Work with attorneys on a strategy for moving cases to a resolution
- Summarize pertinent information from large documents
- Draft litigation documents up to and including disclosures, notices, motions for extensions, and trial subpoenas
- Calendar all litigation deadlines, depositions, mediations, trials, etc
- Maintain professional contact with Opposing Counsel, its staff, and the Courts, state and federal
- Willingness to take on side projects to relieve other case managers, paralegals, and attorneys
Qualifications:
- File Court documents on the state and federal court websites
- Past knowledge and use of case management software
- Previous litigation experience
- Be a self-starter and able to effectively manage multiple matters at once
- Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed
- Strong sense of initiative and eagerness to problem-solve
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High school diploma is required; experience will be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree
