Position: Pharmacist – Inpatient
Shift: Days – 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts; rotating schedule with 1 week of call and 1 weekend every 3 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Weekend: Every 3rd weekend; may be more frequently until staffing stabilizes
Holiday: Required if it falls within scheduled rotation
Call: 7 nights every 3 weeks – Monday–Friday 5:00 PM–6:00 AM; Friday–Saturday and Saturday–Sunday 5:00 PM–7:00 AM; Sunday–Monday 5:00 PM–6:00 AM
EMR: Allscripts
Dispensing System: Pyxis ADC
Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Provide inpatient pharmacy services across ER, ICU, inpatient, infusion, and oncology areas.
- Perform medication compounding, order entry, and order verification.
- Support all inpatient pharmacy operations.
- Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians.
- Ensure accurate and safe medication dispensing.
- Follow established pharmacy policies and procedures.

Requirements\n

- Michigan Pharmacist License – Required
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- Competent inpatient pharmacist experience – Required
- Inpatient pharmacy knowledge and experience with compounding, order entry, and order verification – Required
- Pyxis experience – Preferred
- Paragon experience – Preferred
