Position Description Summary:
The Testing Manager (Off-Site) will lead and supervise testing personnel supporting DAI PMO Testing Support Services for the DAI Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS 12.2.x) environment, including current on-premises and future cloud infrastructure. This position is responsible for managing complex test programs, translating program requirements into testable objectives, and overseeing test planning and execution across releases and system changes.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Testing and Evaluation support for DAI systems, including Oracle EBS, OTL, federal financial modules, EPM, and OAS
• Oversee IV&V activities for new and enhanced releases, major/minor releases, monthly production releases, emergency releases, data fixes, FFMIA testing, and 508 testing
• Direct the development and maintenance of test artifacts, including test cases, test scripts, test plans, deficiency reports, test defects, and test reports
• Manage manual and automated regression testing, including test planning, test data generation, and traceability to approved requirements
• Oversee automated testing using Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS), Oracle Test Manager, and Oracle Load Manager, including performance/load/integration testing and tool training
• Coordinate performance testing with JITC and DAI PMO DBAs, and support interoperability and cybersecurity test and evaluation activities
• Support Test Working Groups, WIPTs, TRRs, SIT, UAT, LUT, and related test events; produce reports, presentations, and meeting minutes
• Support TEMP development and Section 508 compliance testing and reporting
Skills & Experience:
• 5 years relevant experience
• Experience supervising test specialists and managing complex, state-of-the-art test programs
• Experience in testing software applications, including system, regression, acceptance, end to end, performance, and automation testing
• Experience in an Agile environment; Knowledge of System Operations, Engineering, and DevOps integration
• Ability to translate complex program requirements into testable objectives and recommend test cycles, test plans, safety reviews, and detailed test objectives
• Strong background in T&E methodologies and end-to-end enterprise application testing
• Experience with IV&V, requirements traceability, SIT, UAT, regression, performance, interoperability, FFMIA, and Section 508 testing
• Experience developing and maintaining manual and automated test scripts and using ALM/Dimensions and OATS-related tools
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including JITC, DOT&E, DASD(DT&E), DLA teams, and PMO staff
Security Clearance Required:
• Secret Clearance
• IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
