Job Location: Hillsboro, OR
Compensation: $110K - $130K base DOE
Requirements: Network Administration, Cisco, Wireshark, Linux/Unix, Windows (Active Directory), Powershell, Python

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Network Administrator with expertise in Cisco technologies to manage and optimize our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems while providing technical support and guidance to other IT team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure using Cisco technologies.
  • Work as primary technical engineer to design and install LAN and WAN infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls in a Cisco environment.
  • Utilize Wireshark and other tools for network analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security policies are implemented and maintained.
  • Manage user access and permissions using Active Directory and other tools.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell and Python for automation and reporting.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior network staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and certifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network administration, with a focus on Cisco systems.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, and CISSP are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, services, and security best practices.
  • Experience with Linux, UNIX, Red Hat, and Ubuntu operating systems.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools, including Wireshark.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
