We are currently seeking a building maintenance technician to join our team! This ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance of shopping centers throughout Los Angeles. The maintenance will consist of painting, cleaning, removing graffiti, moving furniture, power washing as needed, climbing up onto roofs to trouble shoot roof leaks and or HVAC issues as directed as well as responding to trip hazards and removing or dealing with illegal dumping or damage caused by patrons and or vandalism. The candidate will also at times be required to work directly with ownership and perform various maintenance tasks as directed. The ideal candidate will also be required to drive to other shopping centers within the company's portfolio as directed by the supervisor and or management regularly to ensure that the properties are clean, free of debris, graffiti or report any vandalism.

This candidate should have a valid California driver's license, and a company vehicle will be provided during working hours. The candidate will ideally be bilingual English/Spanish, be punctual, reliable and be able to communicate effectively with other staff members, management and commercial tenants and outside vendors. This candidate should be able to multitask and prioritize work and any issues effectively. The position will require the technician to be stationed and begin the workday at our Redondo Beach shopping center.

The candidate should also possess general computer skills as it will require that an electronic timecard be completed and access and response to emails will be fundamental in this role. This role is a Monday - Friday position although as with all employees, will be expected to answer any after hour emergency calls and direct them to the appropriate parties or the supervisor.
