Residential Restoration Subcontractor – Drywall, Painting & Trim
ServiceMaster by Singer is looking for skilled and reliable interior construction subcontractors for residential restoration and repair projects in the Baltimore, Maryland area.
Most of the work is residential interior repair and restoration, with some light commercial work available as needed. We are looking for professional subcontractors, small crews, and trade specialists who take pride in quality work, communicate well, and know how to work respectfully in homes and occupied properties. The original longer version correctly emphasizes residential work, subcontractor status, insurance, scope-based compensation, and required paperwork; this version keeps those points but tightens the wording.
Work May Include
Typical project assignments may include:
- Drywall hanging and finishing
- Taping, mudding, sanding, and drywall repairs
- Insulation installation
- Interior painting
- Trim installation
- Base cove installation
- Punch-list completion
- Residential reconstruction and restoration build-back
- Other interior repair tasks based on approved scope of work
Who We Are Looking For
The right subcontractor should be able to:
- Perform clean, high-quality interior construction work
- Work professionally inside residential homes and occupied properties
- Protect floors, walls, furniture, and customer belongings when required
- Follow an approved scope of work
- Communicate clearly with project managers and homeowners
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Meet agreed schedules and deadlines
Required Qualifications
Qualified subcontractors must have:
- Proven experience in drywall, painting, trim, insulation, or interior repairs
- Experience working in residential homes or occupied properties
- Current certificate of insurance
- General liability insurance
- Workers’ compensation coverage, if applicable
- Own tools, equipment, transportation, and labor resources
- Ability to provide photos, references, or examples of completed work
- Ability to complete required subcontractor paperwork, including W-9
- Reliable communication and scheduling
