Maintaining and repairing a large fleet of excavating equipment (Komatsu). Must be familiar with electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine repairs on heavy equipment, and understand track equipment and under carriage repairs and maintenance.
- Assess and categorize which repairs are most critical with input from field operators and supervisors.
- Diagnose problems
- Determine options for repair/replace
- Order parts and schedule machine shop work
- Maintain paperwork and provide detailed repair notes
- Work efficiently to repair equipment
- Get along with others
- Have fun doing all the above
- CDL (preferred but required)
We are looking for someone with experience repairing and maintaining heavy excavating equipment, mainly yellow iron and trucks. They need to be self-directed, punctual, dependable, and easy to get along with. We prefer someone who is looking for a long-term employment relationship who can grow with our company and will take pride in the way they excel at what they do. We are a medium sized, family-owned company with a friendly work atmosphere, and because we love what we do, we're looking for someone who loves what they do. We work all year long, rain or shine, snow or heat. (Pay $30-$35 willing to discuss depending on qualifications)
